When people ask me to take a photograph it is usually clear the angle they wish me to take, but this job provided an interesting one. I had to become a voyeur…
I was asked to take the pictures ‘behind the scenes’ and capture the fun of the Christmas 2013 Video shoot for Cassons as if I was a fly on the wall!
These images were used throughout the week prior to the release of the video as a teaser to their followers across social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Twitter – a sort of what is coming next.
The board room became the make-up room for the ladies for the Cassons Christmas Video Shoot 2013 by Shooters Media
Photography such as this, provides many challenges especially when you are with working with and alongside a video crew (they are great guys at Shooters Media I may add) and the spontaneity that presents itself on a parody project such as this.
I feel this is where my reportage style of photography comes into play. It is where I thrive by documenting what’s going on around whilst finding the unusual angles to tell the story in an interesting way.
